I don't know what you are talking about, My roomie and I sync our visors
to mac, linux and windows all the time, via USB and serial. I also can't
belive that they would not do flash update OS upgrades.. you can't upgrade
using 3com Palm updates, that's probably what they are talking about.
I personaly use jpilot (gtk).. but my boss uses kpilot for his palm V
