take a look at daemonnews.org. it's a good site, even if you aren't a
*BSD'er. lots of stuff of interest to *NIX'ers in general.

my only experience with *BSD has been with OpenBSD; which I keep meaning to
learn more about one of these days, but never have the time. :)

if you really want, I'll *give* you a box (486/33, maybe 12MB RAM, 120MB
HDD) to at least try it out on. see if you like it. I recommend it, even if
just for the sake of experience.
