print server

Hi everyone,

I'm setting up my new HP 4000 printer (17 ppm, 1200 dpi). *Hey, stop
drooling on your keyboard!* :-)  Anyway, I'm using a 486SX-33 w/ 12 MB RAM
for a print server. I'm got the software installed, but I'm not sure what
to do to set it up.

I'm using RedHat 5.1. At the point of configuring the printer, it asks
whether it is a local printer, remote lpd, or LAN Manager. I know that LAN
Manager has to do with Windows, but I'm not sure if I should choose local
or remote. Certainly the printer is local for the print server, but will I
be able to print to it from other computers with that config?

I'd appreciate any feedback.
