Scott Have you tried Linux Firewall (in the linux kernel) or TCP wrapper? One thing I would do immediately is disable all services such as logind, telnetd. Use sshd instead, if you want to telnet in from the outside. Cheers Javier Thayer jt@mn.state.net jt@mitre.org
