/etc/hosts and /etc/hosts.allow
Is there a way to tell /etc/hosts.allow not to use /etc/hosts when doing
reverse dns? I have some sites I use a lot in /etc/hosts but now when I
put in /etc/hosts.allow
ALL: LOCAL
it treats any sites in /etc/hosts as local because the name lookup doesn't
have a dot. This is consistant with the logging in /var/log/secure. How
can I have /etc/hosts be only used on way (name->ip) and not (ip->name?)
Thanks,
Ben
