I have used them with both.. work just great, as long as they are the ones
that emulate the keyboard and mouse signals when you're on a differnet
machine.. I've seen motherboards get blown out from the surges of
switching between computers; not good. So, in other words, the cheap $10
ones are junk, don't touch 'em. The ones that range from around $300-$400
work just great.
