 Need more information.

 What is meant by "have still had no luck"?

 If you're not even getting a metaserver window, then you've got some big nasty problems because that uses a TCP connection.  However if you can get that far, can even connect to the server but then get busted out... you are running into a RSA problem.

Try putting 'tryudp: off' in your xtrekrc to default to a TCP connection, which actually works quite well on continuum. Or using the PORTSWAP compiled clients, such as Netrek:1999.
