Ah, right. No, I don't need it in the path for that reason. I would like
"netrek" in the path to start a client though. Then again, if other games
are sitting around in /usr/games then that is where we will live.

As long as it does not show as "./netrekd" or something with an apparent
path in it. Credibility.

Hmm. I've got GNOME up and running on the machine that Petria (my wife)
uses for GIMP work. I can test installs there, if that helps. Red Hat V6.0.
