Add to that list 'listproc' version 6.0c. I've been using that for
years, it has digests, and the copyright dates on that are '91-'93.
Look for it at: ftp://cs-ftp.bu.edu/pub/listserv (there's a namespace
collision with a CREN product with the same name, I believe). The
last version of 6.0c was dated 1994-Jul-12. Plenty of documentation
in that tarball.

Yup. That's a common one. You've got 1 year from date of first
publication to file a patent on the subject of the publication. I
don't remember if that included submitting it for review.
Oh, and all caps is painful to read, by the way.
