I'm curious if anyone has seen what happened to the XMPS project (basically a rip-off of XMMS doing video instead of audio). They were the ones that seemed to have the best luck getting DivX ;-) (the codec, not the disc) going under Linux. Of course, it was through a convoluted process involving running Wine on the Windows DLLs, but it (sort of) worked. Anyway, the site where it used to be [http://www-eleves.enst-bretagne.fr/~chavarri/xmps/] has been non-existant for quite a while... -- _ _ _ _ _ ___ _ _ _ ___ _ _ __ Clarvoiants meeting / \/ \(_)| ' // ._\ / - \(_)/ ./| ' /(__ canceled due to \_||_/|_||_|_\\___/ \_-_/|_|\__\|_|_\ __) unforseen events.
