This is a question that seems to come up from time to time, and always
a good thing to take a look at is, the "Hard Disk Upgrade Mini How-To"

It's a bit old, but it is still quite comprehensive, and shows
different options, depending on exactly what you want to do.  I've
found it to be VERY handy in the past!
