I am trying to us cpan to install a bunch of perl modules. Just about every module fails to install, but will install just fine when I run "make" manually from /root/.cpan/build. I have build-essential installed. Is there anything else I need to add that will make cpan run properly? I have run "o conf init" to reset the config, but have the same problem. This is on an Ubuntu 6 server.
