Re: (ASCEND) Pipeline 5.1A with firewall



been there... done that..

you are probably using an older p50 and it is low on memory.

1) set all your filter profiles back to 0 temporarily then hang up any
connections to reset them.
2) delete 2 of your 3 firewall profiles.
    if you can't delete the profiles goto system diag, restore config and
paste the following.. pressing ctrl-c after that will restore controll

START=FWALL=200=1
END=FWALL=200=1
START=FWALL=200=2
END=FWALL=200=2

3) fclear,fsave, nv to rebuild your config.

4) go back to business as usuall except DONT update a firewall while it is
active. If you have to do the following:
a) save to a new firewall
b) switch the connection profile to use the new firewall then hang up for it
to take effect on the next call.
c) goto the firewall menu and delete the older of the two profiles by saving
the blank one over its place.
