(ASCEND) Lan Security Error

Since I upgraded to ap33 and now ap36 I no longer see the Username and
Lan Security Error when someone tries to log on using the wrong password
or an invalid username as it would before.

It will show up if someone tries to log on twice.  Evidently I have some
setting wrong but have no idea what.  Anyone got any ideas.
