(ASCEND) Supra Mosaic modems and 4048

I have a couple of users using a Supra Mosaic modem and cannot 
connect to my 4048 ( +5.0Ap24+). They report being able to connect
if they place 2 commas (4 will not work) after the number but will get
disconnect within a minute.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
