While stable, I am seeing a gradual decrease in free memory with Ap36. We're running IP and IPX routed. Initial boot gave 1.8MB of free mem. After seven days of operation.. > pools -v Validating free lists... 0 errors; 207 buffers; 956352 bytes memory free I've watched the steady decline. Looks like a mem leak. From what I understand from Ascend once we get to 400kb of free mem it'll be time for a reboot else we risk unplanned mystery event. Of course a predictable path like this is better than spontaneous reboots or (worse) hangs. We can have ops recycle every couple of weeks. But some good malloc() routines would be preferable. ++ Ascend Users Mailing List ++ To unsubscribe: send unsubscribe to ascend-users-request@bungi.com To get FAQ'd: <http://www.nealis.net/ascend/faq>

Follow-Ups:

Re: (ASCEND) 5.0Ap36

From: Jason Nealis <nealis@babylon.erols.com>

Prev by Date: Re: (ASCEND) Beta FAQ page on Pipes......

Next by Date: (ASCEND) Beta FAQ page on Pipes......

Prev by thread: (ASCEND) 5.0Ap36

Next by thread: Re: (ASCEND) 5.0Ap36

Index(es):

Main

Thread
