(ASCEND) MAX stacking

I have been trying to locate some information on the stacking option for
MAX 4000's.  Not much luck on the Ascend page.

Items of interest would be:

1>  What versions of code is stacking supported in?

2>  What costs are associated with enabling?  

3>  Ease of setup?

4>  General impressions of how well it works from anyone currently using
it?

5>  Any clues on where more info may be obtained.
