RE: (ASCEND) Ascend DoS attack



Chris,
If you'll read below, I've extracted from my message where I posted that
Assign Address and Pool Only were set to Yes.  This did not fix the
problem in 5.0AP8, and even letting the Ascend engineer look in the box
got the response "Wow, it sure looks like it's setup to not let people do
that.  Are you sure it's doing it?"  Upgrading to 5.0Ap13 fixed the
problem (done with tload, so the config was the same as before the
upgrade).
