Re: (ASCEND)Help-Connect Speeds-56K

We can't get a 56K modem to connect at any speed. A tech from ASCEND
dialed in from California and got a 48 twice and a 46 once. I think we may
be coming in too hot. The trunk side channelized T1 is set at -1db. Has
anyone had to pad their T1 to get it down to -13db.
When I give my modem an AT &V1 it says the line quality is 127, I
originally thought we had loss somewhere but now it looks as if this might
be echo from it coming in too hot.

Any ideas,
Thanks,
Greg
