Uhmm... dunno about a password, but a secret script might look like this:
$ dom=`domainname` ;echo subscribe ${USER}@${dom} \
|sendmail ascend-users-request@bungi.com
(sorry, I just subscribed today, and couldn't resist answering :)
On to something else:
I've browsed through the FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.shore.net/~dreaming/ascend-faq">http://www.shore.net/~dreaming/ascend-faq</A>,
and tried to visit the archives at <A HREF="http://www.visi.com/~chris/ascend/index.h">http://www.visi.com/~chris/ascend/index.h</A>
tml, but it doesn't seem to exist.
Forgive me if I'm just being plain dense here, but from some docs I've
seen, it appears to be possible to use CHAP authentication via radiusd and
the UNIX passwd file. Is this the case? If so, can someone please direct
me to some quality documentation on the implementation of such?
TIA
