Re: (ASCEND) K56flex connect rate reporting?
You are not seeing k56 speeds:
V.34 AOCRAA [post November 1996] speeds are as such:
33600, 31200, 28800, 26400, 24000, 21600,19200, 16800, 14400, 12000, 9600,
7200, 4800, or 2400
K56Plus speeds are as such:
56000, 54000, 52000, 50000, 48000, 46000,44000, 42000, 40000, 38000, 36000,
34000, 32000
So, if you see any of the speeds from 2400>33600 on connect, you have a
V.34 connection NOT a K56 connection!

Anyone actually seen connect rates above 33600 for K56flex connectees?
Under 5.0Ap6, the '197' (Ascend-Data-Rate) never seems to go above 33600,
and we have some alleged K56flex users....
