Re: (ASCEND) telco switch provisioning help
Ok .. we have 4 Pops all using DMS10 (baby DMS100's). We are set up trunk
side and the feed goes thru a DCM Mux (Fiber splitter). We run AMI and D4.
Our Rob ctl bit is set to Inc-W-200. We are co-located in the CO office.
We had to make sure there was some padding in the CO side of things, and to
put out DB at 7.5. This is because we are located so CLOSE to the equipment
(less than 15 foot run). We also had some problems. Come to find out the
T1 Cable was not pinned and configured correclty. The Enginner had T1/T2
twisted and R1/R2 twisted in the same sheath. Check this out as well.
