Re: (ASCEND) to get the number of active PPP sessons

This shows the number of busy modems:

snmpget -v 1 <your max host> public
.iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.ascend.lanModemGroup.busyLanModem.0

to set it up:

'cat ascend.mib >> mib.txt'

however, I was unable to get cmu's to work
I used ucd-snmp-3.1.3, which is the
University of California at Davis' modification
to cmu-snmp.

ftp://ftp.ece.ucdavis.edu/pub/snmp/ucd-snmp.tar.gz

Good Luck
