(ASCEND) multiple accounting records

We are seeing multiple accounting records showing up in the radius detail
file which is throwing time calculations off the deep end......


i.e.

05/11/97 03:07:45 tola     1       20112 net    
05/11/97 03:10:50 tola     1       20121 net   
05/11/97 03:11:49 tola     1       20103 net    
05/11/97 03:12:48 tola     1       20119 net   
05/11/97 03:26:15 tola     1       20101 net    
05/11/97 03:26:18 tola     1       20112 net    
05/11/97 03:26:32 tola     1       20103 net   
05/11/97 03:26:41 tola     1       20101 net   
05/11/97 03:26:50 tola     1       20112 net   


As you can see, multiple start/stop messages are being sent to the radius
daemon.  There is no possible way for the user to have logged on/off
repeatedly in the time frame given.  It sounds like LCP is opening and
renegotiating the address, causing an accounting record to startup again.

Any ideas?  I've upgraded to the latest radiusd from ftp.ascend.com and
using 5.0Ap5
