(ASCEND) Problem with a P75 not dialing out.

I've had a problem with my P75 not dialing out.

It dials to three locations, each part of a class C address, with variable
subnetting.

P75	xxx.xx.xxx.129/27	+5.0Ap7+ (this is me)
P400	xxx.xx.xxx.1/27 +4.6C+ (this is my connection to the
                                                            outside world)
P75	xxx.xx.xxx.233/29	+5.0Ap7+
P25	xxx.xx.xxx.225/29	+5.0Ap5+ (P25 Classic w/ IP routing)

This is the route table in the P75.

Neither of my BRI channels were in
use. My machine is 130. On my machine, I attempted to ping 1. I also had
a telnet window running to my P75. When I started the ping loop, the
telnet window did not show any activity attempting to call the P400.
After about 20 seconds the p75 showed itself as calling, then connected,
and then ping packets started to transfer.

The above route listing was taken after I had started the ping loop, but
it hadn't attempted to connect yet.

I have the line "Call Filter=1" in the session options to the P400. I have
not set up filters differently from the default factory filters. I have
the same line in each connection profile.

Is there something I'm doing stupid here?

Have the default call filters changed since version 4?

Why are features being added in the patch tree? (50Ap7 added up and down
metrics, and up and down preferences)

If I do a RIP=Both-v2 in my profile to the P400 will the P400 properly
expire the route metrics when the connection drops? (remembering that the
P400 is running old software)

Is there any way of controlling the RIP in the P25, or does it do RIP at
all? (the P25 calls me and the P400 for work and internet connectivity)

Thanks.
