(ASCEND) trunk group bug in 5.0Ap27

I just discovered what seems to be a bug in the handling of trunk
groups. The router is a MAX1800 with 5.0Ap27 (load ba.m18).

What happens is that to a specific remote Pipeline the second channel
would not come up, neither dynamically (using MPP) nor manually.

It happens that the number to be called starts with an "8", not with "4"
as the others. The MAX would dial correctly to establish the first
channel but on trying to bring up the second channel it would display
"Outgoing call 18xxxxx". It prepends a digit! (Lucky that the number is
invalid here...)

The entries in the Connection profile read:

Dial #=0-876543
Calling #=876543
Called #=

And no, no trunk groups defined or in use. In older releases one had to
use a trunk group on the MAX 1800 or it would not span multiple BRIs but
that issue is resolved by now.

At this site, the MAX is behind a Siemens HighCom PBX with BRI
interfaces. That's why the initial zero is given in the Dial #.

(Hey, when I think about it...all 8 BRIs are stuffed into a hunt group
maintained by the Siemens PBX...who's the culprit now?)

Anybody seen anything similar like this?

Best regards,
   Wolfgang
