Re: (ASCEND) LAN security error



Is it possible you're expecting the customer to authenticate with PAP, but
you have auth=either (both PAP & CHAP) on the Max?  

Windows will attempt to authenticate with CHAP on the MAX, and unless the
password is clear text (instead of "UNIX"), it won't happen.
