We run 5.0Ap27 on a 4000 with a 12-56k card. Our customer base is almost
exclusively Macintosh. We have no troubles with Ap27, and didn't with Ap24
either.

Make sure your Mac people are using current dialer software, running a
recent OS version, and running the latest Open Transport (at least 1.1.2).
