(ASCEND) Switched 56=>MAX

     We have a user with a P50 and a Switched 56 line trying to connect to 
     our MAX 4004 (5.0Ap1).  We have many P75 ISDN BRI users working fine, 
     and this is our first attempt at Switched 56.  We setup the P50 
     similar to our ISDN setups, with the exception of setting Chan 
     Usage=Switch/Unused.  The call connects, but nothing happens, ie. no 
     authentication is attempted.  
     
     Questions:
     
     1) Does anything need to be done on the MAX to accept switched 56 
     calls?
     
     2) We have regular PRI's and data-only PRI's.  Does switched 56 work 
     to both?
     
     3) Does anything special need to be setup on the P50?
     
     4) What is the best way to troubleshoot this?
