  This was straight from Ascend Engineering, (names will be witheld to 
protect the innocent) :)

 It does, After the 6 ports are pre-defined, Then lets say wan port 8
will take over wan port 7's B1 and B2 and then user on port 7 will 
get never be able to get in. Plus there were also problems with toggling 
user settings and other profiles would go down.

 True, as I've stated many times before, Ascend has come a LOOOOOOONG way. 
but still not there.
