(ASCEND) Cisco Multilink PPP doesn't work to Max 4000?

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Hi all,

Please does anyone know of/have a working configuration for a Cisco 4500
running IOS 11.1.5 to talk to a Max 4000 running p27?

I have a customer who can connect with just one channel, but as soon as
the second comes up, the first disconnects and while the physical
connection remains the box no longer routes.

Yes, I've checked the relevant FAQs. :-)

Thank you,
