(ASCEND) dense admin with a new toy

Greetings all...

The boss just purchased a used MAX 1800, and I have 2 questions:

1. does the 1800 use the same firmware that I've been using on our 4k?

2. Is there a quick and easy way to totally wipe out the configuration?
I'd like to set this thing back to factory defaults for everything before
I start playing with it.
