(ASCEND) P130/5.1Ap2 does not bridge IP(?) broadcast

Hi!

I upgraded my P130 (bridging IP over a nailed T1) from 5.0Ap1 to 5.1Ap2
and now they do not bridge (IP??) broadcast traffic anymore. This setup
was working fine with 5.0Ap1!!

Anyone else come across this problem?

this is my network topology

 Lan A       P130  nailed T1  P130  Lan B
             .58              .59
------------- [] ------------- [] -----------
Routers in Lan A Routers in Lan B
[] iam .77                     [] pike .86
[] joey .74
[] vole .92

On Lan A (snooping for RIPs only)
        vole -> BROADCAST    RIP R (4 destinations)
        vole -> BROADCAST    RIP R (4 destinations)
         iam -> .255 RIP R (25 destinations)
         iam -> .255 RIP R (20 destinations)
        joey -> .255 RIP R (3 destinations)

On Lan B (snooping for IP/MAC broadcast)
        pike -> BROADCAST    RIP R (3 destinations)
        pike -> BROADCAST    RIP R (3 destinations)
         .99 -> (broadcast)  ARP C Who is .135, .135 ?
         .49 -> (broadcast)  ARP C Who is .43, .43 ?

Also note, Lan A and Lan B are made up of Bay 28115/ADV 10/100 fast
ethernet switches, running 802.1D (spanning tree).

On 5.0Ap1, vole/iam/joey (on Lan A) could hear the RIP broadcast from pike,
and pike (on Lan B) could hear RIP broadcast from vole/iam/joey.

95% of hosts are Sun workstations running Solaris 2.5.1. About 98% or
more of traffic on network is TCP/IP.
