Using RIP v2, IP pools that sit on subnet boundaries, and Pool Summary=Yes, does anyone know how to prevent the maxen from advertising both host routes and summaries out the ethernet (I only want the summary). For example, I'd like to have a 62 address pool on a 4048 from 192.0.2.1 to 192.0.2.62 broadcast to the ethernet as 192.0.2.0/26 and not as 192.0.2.0/26 and 192.0.2.1/32, 192.0.2.2/32, 192.0.2.3/32, etc. When the host routes are broadcast on the ethernet as well as the /26, my upstream provider gets confused. I'm using 5.0Ap27.
