What version of software are you using? Which SNMP Traps have you enabled? > I'm seeing the same thing here...tried the earlier advice and still: > <Trap = 1.3.6.1.4.1.529.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0,6,12,1> <V0=4> > I noticed this comes up whenever I telnet into the MAX. The MAX will send a security trap whenever someone telnets to the router and gets to the "Main Edit Menu" (i.e. console). This is normally an object in the console group -- 1.3.6.1.4.1.529.8.... This is what is sent when using 5.0Ap27 - a program like tcpdump or snoop or etherfind can be used to verify the packet. ++ Ascend Users Mailing List ++ To unsubscribe: send unsubscribe to ascend-users-request@bungi.com To get FAQ'd: <http://www.nealis.net/ascend/faq>

Prev by Date: (ASCEND) IP Pool Summary using RIP v2...

Next by Date: RE: (ASCEND) NavisAccess: "Uncompiled Trap"

Prev by thread: RE: (ASCEND) NavisAccess: "Uncompiled Trap"

Next by thread: RE: (ASCEND) NavisAccess: "Uncompiled Trap"

Index(es):

Main

Thread
