Bad news for you: The K56flex firmware doesn't work for any kind of
outdial yet. Seems to be another Rockwell issue. You can try this
easily with enabling Modem Outdial in the TServ and then, in the
TServ, try "open". It looks as if it dials, but according to the logs
it either doesn't dial at all or it dials nonsense numbers.

I've been asking for "outdial" here in the list whenever a new "Rockwell
fix Release" was announced, but never go an answer. We have customers
to whom we sold (sp?) a Max2000 and K56flex together with MaxDial. Nobody
ever mentioned it wont work. The customer is getting angry...

Dunno if they match 1:1 but on the Rockwell WWW site you'll find a doc
for the K56flex client side chipset as 1048r4.pdf. This one is quite
good. For the K56flex cards Rockwell/Ascend would likely have to emit
a document on their own, because it is a special development of both.
