RE: (ASCEND) p75 configuration
Hi Charles,
On BT ISDN lines the WAN light flashes for most of the time. After
disconnecting it stays off for about 10 seconds and then starts
flashing. That's normal!
What are you trying to connect to?
Does the test dial work? To do this go to Sys Diag | Term Serv and at
the ascend% prompt type
test [your number]
If this does not work check your switch type in the configuration is it
set for UK?
If this does not work try a NET-3 switch type. -- I had to do this
recently after upgrading a Pipeline 50. The UK switch type did not work
whereas the NET-3 did (even though they are supposed to be the same!).
If this doesn't work we'll need some more information.

I have just purchased an Ascend Pipeline 75 and Im having problems
getting it to work
correctly.
The software version is +6.1.0+
Firstly I cant get the WAN light to stop flashing although it is
connected to the ISDN line.
VT100 connection shows X but changes to P if I dial the number.
I have followed all the instructions and setup the data as best I can.
I have only a Macintosh connected to the ethernet port via a hub and
its
set for TCP/IP
I have also got the same problems with only a PC connected.
Any advice from other users would be much appreciated.
