My p75 also made repeated connections to my ISP.
Apart from obvious configuration cockups with the router, identified by
disconnecting your router from your network and then seeing if it still
makes spurious connects, you might want to use a packet sniffer.
I used a tool called Packet Boy which identified continual DNS queries for
hotmail.com. This resolved into a badly configured DNS entry on my '98
desktop coupled with an infection of "Back Orifice".
The packet sniffer proved invaluable in determining this nasty set of
circumstances.

i.e. there is no Browser or e-mail program running.
I have entered the generic filter to handle AppleTalk
Broadcasts
as I have a Macintosh on the Network.
[1] What else can I do to prevent these unwnated calls and
how do I
implement it?
[2] How do I set the p75 Date and Time?
[3] How can I keep a log of all calls, date, time and
duration?
[4] How do I define how long the p75 remains connected after
say,
I collect my e-mail or quit my browser?
