(ASCEND) TNT Carrier Class Switch?

I was wondering what is it that makes a TNT a "Carrier Class Switch?"

Our company has been looking at buying a Class 5 switch mainly to
terminate all of our data lines and as well as some analog trunks
into and break them out that way.  So I was kind of curious if and
what I could pull off with the TNT.

I looked over some of the documentation and didn't find that much on
this topic.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
