I'm going to make a guess that this is the 5 volt supply.

I asked a Max 4000 the same question and it answered by blowing the 5 volt
supply.  I replaced it with a PC supply and two stout cables.... guy in
the shop was somewhat amused when I bought the case and supply, unpacked
it, unscrewed it with the handy screwdriver I had brought with me, removed
the power supply and left him with the empty case.
