Yes, you *do* want to report it to Ascend, even if it is already known.

#1 - This way Ascend customer service will have some idea of the prevalence
     of the problem.  It will not be treated as an isolated issue.

#2 - This way Ascend engineering may be able to gather better information
     on the environments seeing the problem so that if it is an issue with
     a specific set of configurations, the problem can be better defined.

#3 - This way *you* will know what the Trouble Report (TR) number is, so
     that you can get updates on the status of the problem and watch for
     the fix in the release notes.

Always report problems when you find them.  If you don't want to take the
time to call, send e-mail to Ascend customer service.  This will take no
longer than sending a note to the Ascend Users mailing list.
