(ASCEND) Ascend Rant



So when is Ascend actually going to support the basic RADIUS attributes
that just about everyone else on the planet is.  I find it amazing that
companies like Ascend try to product differentiate with basic services
like RADIUS making even mixed networks impossible to manage.  

You want to win all of my port business?  Fix the problems with the Max
4000's that I haver been dealing with for the last two and a half years. 
Make OSPF and stacking work on the same box like i was promised in
September of 1996!  Add realm support to your "free" RADIUS not the 
ridiculously priced AAC and Navis products.  That is what is going to
win more business from me.
