Re: (ASCEND) 4000 Series Underpowered?

Our overall configuration consists of 4 Max 4000s (4004s?) with 4 PRIs in
each box and 6x8-modem cards in each. One box has 6x8-K56Flex cards the
others are all V.34.

Our configuration allows for up to 48 modem and 48 ISDN calls
simultaneously on each box. We have a hunt group configured such that the
4th PRI in any given box is probably not going to fill up until peak
periods, and our KFlex box is rarely hit by modem users (this may change
when we move to V.90)

We also have stacking enabled between all 4 Maxen. They are all connected
to a switching hub (hopefully this helps).

Mortality rate? Jeez that's scary, I'm hoping we won't have to worry
about that anytime soon...
