(ASCEND) RE: Overloading of MAX ethernet ports?
Hi Again,
I have more data which is interesting...
from the actual terminal server of the max 1800, if i ping the local public IP
address of the ethernet interface, it still shows 500 - 5000 ms !!!
When this sort of occurance happens, the ping times go in cycles. ie: starts at
3000ms and climbs to 7000 and then drops back again. However, the actual time
taken for each ping frame to be shown, is NOT any mor than 500 ms. What I mean
is, even though it says 7000ms, the time it takes to state that and then the
next line, is only a fe hundred ms.
something very strange. All other systems are ok.
If anyone has any suggetions, I'd be very greatful.
regards
