SOLUTION : (ASCEND) Is this the cause of a 7.0.4 upgrade?

thanks all for your help.

The problem was that the ID Auth=?   value in   Ethernet->Answer has changed the way it is meant to work.

Changing that to none instead of prefer fixes the problem.
