(ASCEND) No IPX Routing in 7.0.22 (ftk.m40)?

I have MAX 4002 with T1's.  I was running fine with 7.0.22 using
ftik.m40 for IP only standard modem PPP dial-ins.  

The decision was made to support IPX, so I reloaded with 7.0.22, ftk.m40.
It loaded okay, however _all_ the IPX options show as "N/A".  
Specifically the Ethernet -> Mod Config -> IPX Routing option.

Does anyone have a clue as to what is amiss here and share with me what I
need to do to get IPX routing working?
