Re: (ASCEND) Max 4K: no diagnostic menu
Only one diag session is allowed. Either somebody else is in diag, or a
previous session somebody had disi not close correctly.
Apparently the Diag session does eventually timeout, but in previous
experience, it takes a RESET to allow you to get back into diag. (I gave up
waiting after a few days)
This normally occurs when you are in diag, and your telnet session drops
(that rare occurence when the modem drops your call).
