OK - now I have the dialout solution working. Via RADIUS I can create an
IP-route to a subnet which can be reached by dialing out.
But now I want even more. ;-)
Our company wants to sell a solution called "D-Channel-Signaling". This
means, we call the customer, the customer's router sees our call, but
does not answer and calls us back. The only problem is: if the
customers's router answers the call, we are charged by the telephone
company - which of course we don't want.
Is there a possibility to ensure that the customers's router (which is
not under our administration!) does not answer the call?
The only solution I came across so far ist to set max-dialout-time [in
SYSTEM] to a very short period. But I'm not sure if that's the best
solution.
Any help would be nice.
Oliver.
