RE: (ASCEND) MAX 4000 and MRTG

Here's what I've been using for a couple years to track the number of DS0
channels in use.  I used to track the number of sessions, but that's not
accurate if you're doing MLPPP (1 session can use more than 1 channel).

Target[max]:
 1.3.6.1.4.1.529.4.21.1.7.2&1.3.6.1.4.1.529.4.21.1.7.2:public@10.20.03.40 +
 1.3.6.1.4.1.529.4.21.1.7.3&1.3.6.1.4.1.529.4.21.1.7.3:public@10.20.30.40 +
 1.3.6.1.4.1.529.4.21.1.7.4&1.3.6.1.4.1.529.4.21.1.7.4:public@10.20.30.40 +
 1.3.6.1.4.1.529.4.21.1.7.5&1.3.6.1.4.1.529.4.21.1.7.5:public@10.20.30.40
MaxBytes[max]:92

You can walk the 1.3.6.1.4.1.529.4.21.1.7 branch to get a complete listing
of all interfaces (if you're on a TNT).  2 and 3 are on all Maxen, 4 and 5
are the 3rd and 4th DS1s.

If MRTG throws a fit over this, smack it upside the head and try again.  The
config above is good, and it does work.  I have some graphs that are
tracking up to 20 PRI over several 4000 and 6000 maxen.
