More improve weapon thoughts.

Had some other ideas on how this could be handled.

First, the sacrifice of 5 food and 10 booze that is needed for are scrolls
might as well be removed. When a character has the resources to start
improving a weapon, this requirement is nothing more than a nuisance.

Change all the improve stat scrolls so they will only increase the stat
1 pointer for scroll read. The number of potions needed is the total
stat bonus of the sword (minum 1.) This, if a sword is int+2 str+2, then
5 potions would be needed to raise any stat by one point. But if the
sword was int+2 str+2 ws-2, then only 3 potions (this sum might be
squared or otherwsie altered).

Change improve damage so it only increase damage by 1 point (or other
low fixed amount) each time it is read.

Enchant weapon can reamin as it is, but don't reduce weight.

Change lwoer weight so it reduces the weight by a fixed percentage
(maybe aroudn 20%). This make it impossible to have a zero weight
weapon. If staring with a 35 kg weapon, it would take around 6 scrolls
to reduce the weight to 9.

Prepare weapon can remain as it is.

The advantage of this over the present system is that it becomes
very difficult to create an all aroudn super weapon. Right now, if
you have decent resources, with about 2 improve damage and 2 or 3
lower weapon weights, you now have your +70 weight 1 weapon (can do
it in even fewer if you have a lot of rubies and pearls.) Then, with
8 potions, you can raise a stat 2 points. Assuming you are decent
level (15 lets says), that means that you have about improvements
to increase stats (after it has been reduced to 0 weight and +70 damage).

Under the above system, in 15 enchantments, you probably won't even have
a +70 0 weight weapon yet. And so much for it doing anything else for you.

Thoughts/ideas? This probably needs some refinements, but isn't
incredibly far removed from the present system.

Also, it lets that fighter creaeat a very good fighting weapon, but
probably won't improve his stats. That mage might instead create one
that improves stats, but isn't good for fighting.
